We sell to only one shop per trade in each suburb
DFW Reply Desk writes Google review replies and answers after-hours calls for home services shops in the Dallas Fort Worth area. This page lists which territories are open, which are held, and which are claimed. This page also explains the rules we follow when two shops want the same territory. As of October 29, 2026, every cell is open, and the number of claimed cells is zero.
Territory definition
A territory, or cell, is one trade in one suburb. The suburb is the primary city shown on the shop's Google profile, and the trade is the shop's main line of work. The trades are HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and garage door work. A shop that works in more than one of those trades should email us before it pays so that we can record which trade is its main line for that location. An email of that kind does not hold a cell. A cell is counted for each paid location, so a shop with a location in Dallas and a location in Plano holds two cells, one in each suburb. We do not treat the whole metro area as one territory.
Status rules
Open means that no shop holds the cell, and any shop in that trade and suburb can pay to hold it. Held means that a shop has paid $49 for the Review Reply Sprint or for the 7-night Phone Desk pilot. The hold runs for 7 days from the moment Stripe records the payment, and the hold covers both Reply Desk and DFW Phone Desk for that cell. Claimed means that a shop has a monthly plan and its payment is current, subject only to the 30 day grace period described below. The claim starts with the first payment, at the intro rate of $99 a month for Reply Desk with code REPLYDESK99 or $69 a month for DFW Phone Desk for the first 3 months for signups through January 31, 2027, and continues at $149 a month after that while payments stay current. The claim covers both Reply Desk and DFW Phone Desk, so another shop in the same cell cannot keep either service under this policy while the claim is in effect. A shop can join the waitlist for a held or claimed cell at no charge by emailing us. We record the date and time of each waitlist request, and we contact shops in the order in which their requests arrived if the cell opens. When a hold expires without a monthly plan or a claim ends, the cell returns to open status. The ledger records the date on which the cell reopened, and that date becomes the status date for the row. The Stripe payment timestamp is the only record that settles a question about which shop reached a cell first. We do not hold a cell because of a phone call, an email, or a promise, and that rule includes a promise from us.
Payments for the same cell
Our payment links are simple Stripe pages, and Stripe cannot check this ledger before it takes a payment. We state that limit here because the check does not happen before payment. If a second shop pays for a cell that another shop has already held or claimed, the shop with the earlier Stripe timestamp keeps the cell. We issue a full refund of the later payment within 1 business day. We will tell the second shop which cells in the same trade are open at that time, and no cell is held for that shop while it decides whether it has a location in one of those suburbs. The second shop can also join the waitlist for its own cell, and its place on the waitlist will follow the order in which waitlist requests arrived.
Plan lapse
If a monthly payment fails or a plan otherwise stops being current, the cell remains claimed for a grace period of 30 days while the shop resolves the payment. This grace period is the only exception to the current payment requirement for claimed status. If the plan is current again by day 30, the claim continues. If the plan is not current again by day 30, the claim ends, the cell returns to open status, and the ledger records the date on which the cell reopened. A shop that returns after its claim has ended starts under the same rules as any other shop, and it can hold its old cell again only if that cell is still open.
Ledger status
The ledger opened on October 29, 2026. The ledger lists 31 cells, which consist of the 24 territories in our starting grid and 7 additional cells in 5 suburbs where a sample page for a local shop is already live: 3 cells in Carrollton and 1 cell each in Richardson, Grand Prairie, Aledo, and Mesquite. Frisco and McKinney do not have a pre-listed cell yet. The same is true of any trade and suburb combination that is not one of the 31 rows, such as HVAC in Grand Prairie or plumbing in Richardson, so the rule in the first FAQ answer below, for a cell that is not in the ledger, applies to all of them. Every cell is open. The number of claimed cells is zero, and the number of held cells is zero. We update this page within 1 business day after a cell's status changes, whether a payment changes it or a hold expires or a claim ends, and each row shows the date of the last change for that cell. A cell's status can change after the date shown in its row, and the Stripe payment timestamp still settles which shop reached a cell first. The table that follows lists all 31 cells with the trade, the suburb, open status, and the date October 29, 2026.

Questions
What happens if my cell is not in the ledger?
The ledger grows as shops arrive. A payment for a trade and suburb combination that is not listed yet creates that cell at the moment of payment, and the same rules apply. A $49 payment holds the new cell for 7 days, and a monthly plan claims the new cell from the first payment while payments stay current, at the intro rate of $99 a month for Reply Desk with code REPLYDESK99 or $69 a month for DFW Phone Desk for the first 3 months for signups through January 31, 2027, and $149 a month after that. You can email us before you pay to ask about a cell that is not listed, and we will check the ledger and reply with the status we find at that time. We do not add a cell to the ledger until a payment creates it.
What happens if another shop already holds or claims my cell?
Emailing us to ask about the current status does not protect a later payment, because a Stripe payment link cannot check the ledger before it takes a payment, and the cell can be held or claimed by an earlier payment at any time. If a payment does go through for a cell that an earlier payment already holds or claims, the earlier payment keeps the cell, and we issue a full refund of the later payment within 1 business day. You can join the waitlist for the cell at no charge, or you can consider an open cell in another suburb where your shop has a location. The same protection applies to your shop after you hold or claim a cell.
Does the territory rule cost extra?
The territory rule does not cost extra. The ordinary prices are $49 for the Review Reply Sprint and $49 for the 7-night Phone Desk pilot. A monthly plan is $99 a month for Reply Desk with code REPLYDESK99, or $69 a month for DFW Phone Desk, for the first 3 months for signups through January 31, 2027, and $149 a month after that. A plan at the intro rate claims the cell from the first payment, at $99 or $69 a month, for as long as payments stay current. The territory rule describes how we sell, and it is not an added fee.
Can I hold a cell without paying?
You cannot hold a cell without paying. A hold starts only with a $49 payment, and the Stripe timestamp is the record. This rule keeps the same test for every shop.
Next step
Find your trade and suburb in the ledger above. If your cell is open, you can start with the Review Reply Sprint, which holds your cell for 7 days while we draft replies to up to 10 of your unanswered Google reviews. If you start a monthly service after the Sprint, we credit the full $49 toward month 1. You can also start with the 7-night Phone Desk pilot for $49, and the same credit toward month 1 applies if you later start a monthly service. Whichever you start with, email us your shop name, your trade, and your suburb right after you pay so that we can record the payment against the right cell. That email does not hold the cell, and the Stripe timestamp still controls. If your cell is held or claimed, you can email us to join the waitlist. Joining the waitlist carries no charge and no obligation.
